The host's good attitude towards my elderly parents was truly heartwarming and made our stay even more enjoyable. the sitting area and dining table were both lovely spaces to relax and enjoy meals together. the patio outside was a delightful spot to unwind with a cup of tea. the free toiletries provided were a luxurious touch, and the well-equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze. the electric kettle was a convenient addition, allowing us to enjoy hot drinks whenever we pleased. the flat-screen TV and CD player provided entertainment options for quiet evenings in. the carpeted floors added to the comfort of the cottage, and the location near restaurants like Falafel and More and Cafe in the Park made dining out a breeze. Overall, Hope Cottage went above and beyond in every aspect, exceeding all of our expectations and providing us with a truly memorable stay. I highly recommend this gem of a property to anyone looking for a fantastic stay in Colchester.
